Website redesign & graphic design
ABOUT
Le Bon Plat is a restaurant in Stockholm which offers French cuisine. The owners wanted to refresh the website and give it a more modern, elegant and minimalistic look while following the brand guidelines using specific colors, fonts and style.
PAIN POINTS
When analysing the website I noticed the following pain points:

- the landing page wasn’t clearly indicating what the website is about
- it wasn’t clear that the restaurant also offers catering and rooms that can be booked for team meetings
- most descriptions were a bit confusing since they were written in both Swedish and French
- the design had a lot of blocks of color and needed a fresher, more minimalistic look
- the menu was a bit confusing, it needed more structure and less distractions
SOLUTION
In order to improve the website we had to:

- create a more minimalistic design with less colors
- organize the content and update titles in Swedish in order to improve user experience and help users quickly find necessary information without confusion
- update the menu in a cleaner and neater way

ADDITIONAL GRAPHIC DESIGN

To complete the design I also created a menu file which can be edited and uploaded to the website whenever the chef decides to change the menu. Compared to the previous version the menu is now more organized, minimalistic and clear to read without unnecessary distractions in the background.
