ABOUT
Ana Perfeito Cakes is a website owned by Ana Perfeito who is a baker in Uppsala, Sweden. Ana offers custom made baked goods such as wedding and festive cakes, cupcakes and other sweet treats. She asked for a website redesign to make her website more aligned to her brand and to showcase her professionalism and quality of the products she offers.
PAIN POINTS
When analysing the website together we addressed the pain points of the previous design:
- the website had a little bit messy content, the structure needed to be improved for better UX
- the information such as menu, pricing, etc. was spread out on different pages, making the customers spend more time to find all the information
- the menu and pricing list was only available as a downloadable link
- the design was a bit outdated and needed a fresher look

SOLUTION
We agreed that in order to improve the website we had to:
- organize the content to improve user experience in order to help users quickly find necessary information before placing an order, find clear descriptions of available options as well as pricing
- create an easy way to place an order through a contact form
- showcase Ana’s work in each category in order to inspire and help customers decide what to order
- create a more modern design

To complete the design I also created a menu, pricing and availability files which Ana can edit and upload to the website whenever she needs to update the information, as well as share with clients via email or post on social media:
